Stored on your device
Your anime library, watch status, episode progress, favorites, followed titles, preferences and other app state are stored locally.
Effective September 15, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Tsuzora handles information when you use the application, including information stored on your device, network requests made to anime data providers, notifications, diagnostics, and information you choose to share.
Tsuzora is primarily a local-first application. Most of the information you create while using the app remains on your device.
Your anime library, watch status, episode progress, favorites, followed titles, preferences and other app state are stored locally.
Tsuzora connects to external anime information services to retrieve metadata such as titles, artwork, schedules, characters and releases.
If you enable them, Tsuzora may use Android notifications and background checks to alert you about tracked anime and updates.
Diagnostic tools are optional. Reports are not automatically uploaded and leave your device only when you deliberately copy or share them.
The sections below describe what Tsuzora stores locally, when the app communicates with external services, and when information can leave your device.
Tsuzora is designed primarily as a local-first application.
Information such as your anime library, watch status, episode progress, favorites, followed titles, milestones, recommendation preferences, application settings, and related app state may be stored locally on your device.
In the current release, this information is not automatically uploaded to Tsuzora-operated servers.
Local data normally remains on your device until you remove it through the app, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the application.
Tsuzora connects to third-party anime information services in order to retrieve titles, artwork, descriptions, release information, schedules, characters, and other anime metadata.
These services may include AniList, Jikan, Kitsu, and Shikimori.
When Tsuzora performs these requests, information necessary to complete the request may be transmitted to the relevant service. This may include anime titles or identifiers, search queries, requests for release information, and ordinary technical connection information such as an IP address.
Information handled by those third-party services is subject to their own privacy practices and terms.
If you enable notifications, Tsuzora may use Android notification permissions to notify you about tracked anime, scheduled releases, reminders, or detected updates.
Background tasks may periodically contact supported anime metadata providers to check for relevant updates.
Notification preferences and tracking state are stored locally on your device. You can disable notification permission at any time through Android settings.
Tsuzora includes optional testing and diagnostic tools.
Diagnostic collection is not automatically uploaded. When explicitly enabled by the user, Tsuzora may locally record limited diagnostic information about application behavior.
A diagnostic report may include information such as device model, Android version, Tsuzora version, selected language, text-size configuration, notification permission state, application diagnostic events, and feedback entered by the user.
Diagnostic reports are designed not to include persistent device identifiers, account credentials, raw network payloads, or anime search text.
A report leaves the device only when you deliberately choose to copy or share it using Android's sharing features.
Certain features, including Tsuzora Rival Cards and friend-profile exchange, may allow you to copy information to or read information from the Android clipboard after an explicit user action.
Clipboard content used for these features is processed locally and is not automatically transmitted to Tsuzora-operated servers.
The current public release of Tsuzora does not require a user account and does not enable cloud synchronization by default.
If cloud-based account or synchronization functionality is introduced in a future release, this Privacy Policy and the relevant Google Play disclosures will be updated before that functionality is made available.
The current version of Tsuzora does not display advertising and does not include third-party behavioral advertising or analytics SDKs.
Tsuzora does not sell personal information.
If advertising, analytics, or related technologies are introduced in a future release, this Privacy Policy and the relevant Google Play disclosures will be updated before that functionality is made available.
Tsuzora may provide links to external services, trailers, source pages, streaming services, anime databases, or other websites.
When you open an external link, you leave Tsuzora and the privacy policy and terms of the destination service apply.
Tsuzora is designed to minimize collection of personal information and to keep user-library information on the device whenever possible.
Network communications with supported online services use secure HTTPS connections where provided by those services.
No method of electronic storage or Internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Locally stored Tsuzora data remains on your device until you remove it through the app, clear Tsuzora's application storage through Android, or uninstall the application.
Optional diagnostic history can be disabled and cleared through Tsuzora's diagnostic controls.
Because the current release does not create a Tsuzora online account or automatically upload a user profile to a Tsuzora-operated server, there is currently no remote Tsuzora account record that requires separate deletion.
Tsuzora is not specifically designed for young children and is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children.
This Privacy Policy may be updated when Tsuzora's functionality, third-party integrations, or data-handling practices change.
Material changes will be reflected on this page by updating the effective date shown at the top of the policy.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how Tsuzora handles information, you can contact Tsuzora Studio using the developer contact information provided on Tsuzora's Google Play listing.
